With its unique ocean side location and at the heart of the hotel, the Bass Rock Bar offers a broad range of bespoke and classic cocktails, fine wines and speciality beers.

Wine and Dine Experiences

Chris Niven

With a background cooking in Scotland’s finest restaurants and hotels, Chris was previously Executive Chef at The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh and The Fairmont, St Andrews before making the move to East Lothian.

A classically trained chef offering his own twist for a modern Scottish menu, Chris is currently a finalist in one of the UK’s most prestigious culinary contests, The National Chef of the Year competition.
